Everyday Hero’s

I tend to sometimes forget the people who have made my day brighter, or just really saved the day. You know what I am talking about. I know for me it is my family or friends, and at times it is also someone who commits a random act of kindness.

Haven’t you noticed that your local evening news usually does a segment on an “Everyday Hero”? If you haven’t then you are really missing out. I always get the opportunity to see our local youth going above and beyond the call of service, wholeheartedly. What I am trying to get at is that you can be a hero to someone too and not be aware of it.

My everyday hero is my mother. She is one the nicest and most caring individuals that I know. Seriously. It is a great feeling to have someone take the time to come ask me if you want to grab lunch, or just hang out and talk over a nice cup of tea.

So I ask who is your everyday hero? What have you done to help someone else lately? Food for thought….
